Step 1: Prepare Your Leaf Blower

First, ensure that your EGO 56-volt Handheld Leaf Blower is clean and in good working condition. Check the battery to ensure it is fully charged. In our case, we purchased a new EGO leaf blower, so we have unboxed the leaf blower with the intention of transforming it into a mosquito blower.

Step 2: Assemble the Mist-X Kit

Follow the instructions provided with your Mist-X kit to assemble the misting nozzle, tubing, and connectors. This should be a straightforward process. Ensure a secure fit to prevent any leaks during operation.

Step 3: Attach Mist-X to the EGO Leaf Blower

Now, it’s time to connect the Mist-X misting system to your leaf blower. Most Mist-X kits are designed to be easily attached to various leaf blower models. Simply follow the instructions that come with your Mist-X kit to connect it securely to your leaf blower’s nozzle or air outlet.

Step 4: Attach EGO Leaf Blower to Your Choice of Backpack Sprayer

For this mosquito blower setup, we will be using our favorite backpack sprayer, the My 4 Sons backpack sprayer. You can gather the components needed for the connection. You will typically require a tubing kit or adapter to link the leaf blower to the sprayer. These components can often be purchased separately or may come included with your sprayer or Mist X kit.

Step 5: Secure the Setup

With the leaf blower and backpack sprayer securely connected, double-check all connections to ensure there are no loose parts or potential sources of leakage. It’s crucial to maintain a tight and secure setup to ensure the efficient operation of your mosquito blower.

Step 6: Test the Setup

Power on your leaf blower and adjust the airflow to your desired setting. Activate the misting system, and you should see a fine mist being generated by the Mist-X nozzle. Confirm that both the leaf blower and backpack sprayer are working in harmony to disperse the product effectively (We used water in this setup).

Your EGO Leaf Blower with the Mist-X kit, seamlessly integrated with the My 4 Sons backpack sprayer, is now ready to combat those pesky mosquitoes for your personal or business purposes. This DIY mosquito blower setup offers a unique alternative to traditional gas-powered mosquito blowers
